One of the largest ships built by any NEIGHTO nation, the Resolution-class aircraft carriers are VERY wide at the flight deck level, and feature two semi-independent flight decks. It is intended that the Scout Planes be ready to launch from the lower deck at immediate notice, but some of the Fulmar Strike Fighters are situated down there as well, to launch a heavy first wave of strike aircraft against a target. An elevator on the upper flight deck, and one at the aft of the hangar deck, allow planes to be moved quickly. The Resolution-class may be a bit smaller than Equestria's aircraft carriers, but it has a faster turn-around time. For ease of construction, the hull is based on the hull of the (refit) Inflexible-class battleships. |

Modifications to the Inflexible-class Battleships have turned them into fine Fast Battleships, but at the lower end of the speed scale for them. A massive overhaul of the ship's design was undertaken to add the new 15-inch guns and not leave the ship top-heavy, that called for carving off a full deck and adding a new "Atlantis-style" raked prow. Almost all the Casemate Guns were taken off, save two, that survived the modifications. Aircraft were added. New boilers and power plants were added as well. It's almost a brand new ship, and actually slightly lighter than before. |

The County-class cruisers were almost entirely rebuilt, with new bows added, and equipment changed around. New main guns were added, though the turrets remained dual mounts in a single sleeve (meaning both guns elevate at the same time). New secondary guns, the Ambleonian 4.7-inch gun, were added, and AAA protection increased significantly. Speed also increased, though they are the same speed as their sub-class, owing to the weight of their main armament. Scout planes were also added, with a hangar added abaft the stack. |

The Gloucester Sub-Class cruisers are an evolution of the original County/Kent-class cruisers. Slighlty larger, with one more main gun barrel, and a better secondary and AAA armament. It also has more Scout Planes, and slightly longer transit range. It's well armored, and can easily stand up to heavier units with its powerful 9.2-inch guns. The Ambleonian-developed 4.7-inch gun is considered the best secondary gun in NEIGHTO for anti-aircraft duties, better than the Equestrian 5-inch guns, though it isn't as good against ships. |

Refit Town-class cruisers are good general purpose Light Cruisers, with both anti-ship guns and anti-air artillery in relative balance, with anti-sub weapons, and new Gyro-Stabilized Torpedoes. Their follow-on sub-class fills the complete bill of a "modern" light cruiser a bit better, as even with the refit, only one Scout Plane could be carried. The new 6-inch guns are much higher velocity than the old ones, and perform much better against ship armor, allowing the Town-class light cruisers to have some chance against even enemy Heavy Cruisers. |

The follow-on, second generation Cirencester-class cruisers are quite powerful, with two more full turrets of 6-inch artillery, and one more 4.7-inch turret. It also has 3 "Pintail" scout planes, that can also perform anti-submarine duties. By all accounts, the Cirencester-class cruisers are thoroughly modern Light Cruisers in every regard. |

Modernized Family-class vessels have been redesignated as Destroyers, even though they're a bit short for the classification, owing to their heavy armament, and expanded range. Anti-Sub weapons were also added, and the torpedoes changed to an Ambleonian copy of the Equestrian Gyro-Stabilized Torpedo. Speed has been increased as well, and the ships are far more capable than before. Four additional units were constructed from the ground up to this modified design. |

The expanded and improved version of the original Bird-class are reclassified as Frigates, owing to their expanded range, improved speed, better armament, and over all greater capability. Four additional units were built to this modified design and have slighlty different internal layouts. |
