The Ambleonian Supercarreirs are shorter than the Equestrian ones, but no less capable. Designed around flexibility, the Ambleonian Carriers are intended to carry a large helicopter compliment, and not operate with Helicopter Cruisers, necessitating a much larger flight deck. While this does place all the "eggs" in one basket, that basket is now able to undertake more missions by itself, and simultaniously, given its very large flight deck and hangar, intended from the start to also support special mission strikes, as well as helicopter assaults during amphibious landing operations. The carriers are paired, and lead RAN Blue Squadron, in Fleets #1 and #2. They are outfitted to operate as Fleet Flagships, with expansive command and control areas.

The wide Resolution class carriers were refit with an angled deck, instead of semi-side-by-side flight decks, like the Equestrian Cloudsdale or Heart of Fire classes. The width was used to expand the hangar deck, and reorganize it, squeezing one more squadron of Scout/ASW/Fighter aircraft, and more Strike aircraft than before. The follow-on Ark Royal class carries helicopters as well, but given the limitations of the carrier hull, the Resolution class, it was decided, would not. In its place, two Kent class cruisers were assigned to each Carrier of this class to perform the helicopter support roles independently. Breaking up the support role to a separate hull is similar to how the Equestrian fleet does it. While most ships were refit with new turbines, this wasn't possible here, and the older DRG Turbines are still installed, meaning the speed and range increase for the more efficient engines isn't as pronounced.

The mighty "V-Class" or "Victory" Battleships of the Ambleonian Navy were designed at the same time as the Flashstone Class from Equestria, and are intended to be as- or more-capable. The huge GWS.1 SeaSnake Missile is designed from the start to be multi-mission, with anti-ship, anti-land, and anti-air ability, using four large booster rockets to get it up to Mach 1.8 and 60nmi range for the land-attack role. With the anti-ship warhead installed, the GWS.1 has a range of 30nmi, and can target ships moving at 15 knots with a 80% chance-to-hit. Terminal range tracking is done with a forward-facing camera, in this case. In the anti-air role, it uses a proximity fuse and a bursting warhead that spreads a massive cloud of high velocity shrapnel. However, the system is too large to use on any other type of vessel, and wasn't exported. The Vanguard Class represents one of the best "last generation Battleship" designs, despite some limitations. The main guns are arranged somewhat oddly, with a quad turret on the bottom, and a twin turret superfiring over it, fore-and-aft.

Another refit, and still the original 105mm Casemate guns are retained. The main gun of the Inflexible Class has a range of 23nmi with boosted charges, and 19.5 nmi with standard charges. The new, automated 115mm guns are supposed to strike a balance between the old 120mm systems, the Equestrian 5-inch systems, and proposed 3-inch/76.2mm systems with higher fire rates and slightly shorter ranges. While not BAD guns, they - on paper - give up a bit too much to achieve their impressive 10.25nmi range against surface vessels, and nearly 13,000 meter AA ceiling. That being a shell not that much heavier than the Equestrian 76.2mm/3-inch system, for a larger footprint. Still, it works, and the 115mm system was deployed fleetwide. Old 120mm guns were placed on artillery cradles and turned into heavy land-based guns for Ambleonian Heavy Artillery batteries. The long sight lines for the advanced Radar systems give the Fast Battleships excellent detection capability. In the four Ambleonian fleets, these are paired with either HMAS Renown, or HMAS Resolution.

The original Flight 1 County-class cruisers were rebuilt once again, this time with the intent of supporting the Ambleonian carriers by taking on the duties of a Helicopter Carrier, while also providing long range air detection, and medium range air defense. Because of this massive alteration, they're no longer catalogued, officially, as "County-class" Cruisers, but instead, as "Kent-Class" cruisers. They can carry a large assortment of helicopters, and re-outfit for any mission using the former Nature-class Dock Landing ships, now in use as Aircraft Tenders, to switch around which helicopters are loaded. The weapon system reorganization is limited by the hull itself, and ended up with the aft guns removed, secondary 4.5-inch automatic guns moved amidships, and the medium-range (17.5nmi @ Mach 1.25) SeaSlug Missiles moved amidships as well. While the weapon layout prevents the amidships mounts from being fired at any angle other than broadside, doctrine dictated that the Cruisers would use that amidships coverage to screen the Carriers directly, with specific fleet formations that take advantage of this coverage radius. The main guns were replaced with Equestrian 8-inch gun turrets in an effort to standardize some ammunition calibers, with the middle gun replaced with a radar guidance array and computer controller, affording it exceptional accuracy over the Equestrian turrets, at the loss of one gun.

The Gloucester Sub-Class cruisers have become the primary counter-surface vessels of the Ambelonian Fleet, with some SAM capability, and some Anti-Sub ability. The GWS.4 Ikara Anti-Sub Rocket was an effort by the Ambleonian government to create their own anti-submarine rocket system. While the rocket booster has a 5nmi longer range than the Equestrian RUR-1 ASROC, the torpedo it fires is smaller, and has a slightly less discerning sonar tracker, often requiring all three GWS.4's to be fired to score one hit, compared to 1:2 for the Equestrain system. As the RAN had already bought into the system, it was deployed on several ships. One advantage it has over the ASROC is its in-deck magazine with vertical reload, and smaller footprint, allowing it to be installed on smaller warships. The Gloucester Sub-Class also retains all of their awaycraft, and normally stocked at least one more 5 meter launch, or a 10 meter "commando schooner."

The Cornwall Sub-Class of the County series is Ambleion's answer to the Equestrian "National Class" Guided Missile Cruisers. However, predictably, fewer were constructed. Unable to discard or de-mission old hulls for lack of dock space, industry, and ponypower to staff large numbers of vessels, Ambleion instead focused on creating only four total fleets - two of the most modern, two of the older classes. So, instead of filling every billet in the four fleets with just one type of Guided Missile Cruiser, the fleets were broken down into components. Each Fleet would have one Carrier, two Battleships, four Heavy Cruisers, six Light Cruisers, and eight Destroyers. For this mission, Ambleion's Navy decided to create one "ultimate" Guided Missile Heavy Cruiser, and one "true" Guided Missile Cruiser to fill the Light Cruiser role in the two new fleets. The Ambleonian Guided Missile Cruisers make use of the Equestrian RUR-1 ASROC, locally produced as the GWS.6 Speargun, as well as their own SAM's, and a heavy gun compliment. Initial plans to add SeaSnake missiles in place of the 8-inch guns were aborted due to the large and unwieldly magazine and sensors and computers needed for that system, restricting it to the "V" Class Battleships only. While not Helicopter Cruisers, the addition of helicopters was seen as important, hence the inclusion of a 2-helicopter pad, and a hangar for up to 2 helicopters in the aft section.

The second refit of the Chester Sub-Class leaves it very lightly armed, and more suited to generalized support roles, with no specific weapon system advantage, but a total suite that gives it options. Given its limited weapon endurance and amount of arms, the 8 vessels of ths Flight were assigned, along with the unmodified members of the Bird-class Frigates, to escort roles for supply and troop convoys. While they lacked helicopters, they had their own sonar, and were the first ships to use a Towed Sonar Array instead of the fleet standard upgraded sonar "blisters" seen on other classes in combination with its original sonar detection suite. The new automatic 6-inch guns - unlike the Equestrian models - are not able to be used on aircraft, and fire a heavier shell, giving them lower range (14.5nmi), but much better striking power against enemy ships, with a rate-of-fire of 24 rounds per minute, per barrel. The Chesters also mount the Equestrian Sonar-Guided Torpedo, though made locally.

Going along with the conversion of the Light Cruisers into full Escort Cruisers, the Cirencester Sub-Class - as it had more hull space - was given another 6-inch gun turret, and some more 57mm Autocannons, giving it a more robust protection suite. They were, thus, retained within the primary Fleet. The follow-on Londinium Sub-Class filled the remaining required slots. In a fleet formation, two Light Cruisers were assigned directly as escorts to the Carrier or the Battleships, given that they could combat Submarines as well as Aircraft, and the three triple 6-inch gun turrets could shower enemy forces with plunging fire, if they got too close.

Realizing that the Family and Bird classes were entirely unsuitable for further modernization, it was decided to make a whole new class of warship to replace them. General Purpose Escort Vessels, the primary four fleets of the Ambleonian Navy were assigned every unit, while unmodified Family Class Destroyers were assigned to convoy duty, while Bird Class Frigates were assigned to protect assets closer to the Ambler Islands. Interestingly, they're the same length as the original Town-class Scout Cruisers, and the class is often referred to as "the destroyer that's almost a Light Cruiser."

The advanced submarines of the Ambleonian Navy are excellent sub-surface partners to the Equestrian advanced attack subs. Being slightly shorter, they have a shorter travel range, but the armaments and sensor systems are almost identical. The capabilities of the two classes are virtually the same as well, with the "A" Class having sonar with slightly better discernment and better computer tracking.

The Nature Class AVT's were modified to repair and resupply aircraft for carriers and other ships that have helicopters. They are very lightly armed, but they still require escorts, as they have no anti-sub weapons. Four vessels from the Nature Class were selected for conversion, with the other four turned into Submarine Tenders. The sub tender versions do not have the helicopter landing deck, and a large open bay of workshops and munitions stowage instead. The engines were left unchanged.
