My Little Pony: Warfare is Magic

Kingdom of Dragonshire: Aircraft (Dragonshire Army Air Corps)

The Army Air Corps is the unit in the Dragonshire military that handles all aviation not directly related to their Airships, which are part of the Dragonshire Air Fleet. Since Dragons can naturally fly (in most cases), they didn't see the need for aircraft until Equestria started showing them their capabilities. They took them seriously, and the Dragonshire Military Technology Labs worked with the Bright Eyes Foundation on the creation of helicopters. Dragonshire hasn't much of an aviation force, but what they do have is focused on the Air Cavalry concept - airmobile forces using helicopters for assault operations, covered by attack and scout helicopters. For escort and overwatch, they developed heavier-than-air aircraft, and were the only nation in NEIGHTO to do so during the Tirek War.

The Dragonshire UH-1 is an evolution of the Equestrian designs, using a far better and more powerful engine, that also requires more fuel. The cargo section can hold up to 12 Dragon troops with full gear, or 18 of the smaller races, or can be configured for up to 4 litters, and two Medics. It can also outfit as a gunship with the M-1 Wing Subsystem, and provide some ground support, at the cost of either speed or troop capacity, as the Turboshaft engine has more than enough power to handle much heavier loads. The Dragonshire UH-1 was adopted by some NEIGHTO army air forces, but not by the navies, as the helicopter is much larger than pony designs, and fit aboard ships was an issue. They are, however, weatherproofed for naval use anyway, and can land on ships, even if they can't be regularly stored there.
