| The first variant of the UCV was a medium tank, armed with a copied Equestrian Tassigny tank turret and the updated 77mm HV gun, making it very effective against most armored vehicles fielded by Tirek. The hull armor isn't great, but tank crews were taught to minimize exposure of the hull as best as possible, and use the terrain to their best advantage. As Vulpesylvania is very mountainous, and has few long open plains fit for tank combat, the 77mm HV gun is plenty of punch. These are assigned to Mechanized Infantry Brigades in a dedicated Armored Battalion in two Regiments. |

| The "Sparta" CFV has both a powerful autocannon with a 120-round-per-minute rate of fire, and a 3-trooper capacity. The extra space in the back is used for extra survival gear, and extra fuel, allowing the CFV's to be used in a scout capacity. One Regiment of Cav Scouts are attached to every Mechanized Infantry Brigade, and two are intended to be attached to every (heavy) Armored Brigade. The 40mm "Royal Engineering Research and Development Establishment, Messene" cannon is fed from a 4-shell clip, of which two can be mounted into the gun's cassette at a time. |

| The APC variant of the UCV holds 6 troops with some spare room for survival gear, extra ammo, or even some extra fuel cans. It can be converted into an HQ Vehicle with minimal work, as there are attachment points for radio sets, and plugs, on the inside. In an emergency capacity, it could hold 8-9 soldiers, or up to 12 with no combat packs. The minimal armor is only proofed agaisnt 11mm AP rounds, and shrapnel splinters. |

| The Assault Gun/TD version of the UCV uses a short version of the L7 Tank Gun used on the Equestrian M16 Scott. This does reduce its effective range by 33%, but within its range envelope, it's quite deadly to enemy armor. Given how the nation of Vulpesylvania is laid out, using these as ambush vehicles is also viable, setting traps for incoming enemy armor and attacking them as they pass through narrow areas. |

| Mobile AAA for armored formations became very valuable as mechanized warfare met the emergence of powerful, fast strike aircraft, and moreso when helicopters became viable for combat use. The dual 40mm guns have a lower rate of fire (90 rounds per minute each) than the RARDEM gun, but are paired, and have a higher elevation capability. The Siracusa has no close combat machine gun, and must be protected by infantry. |
