Germaneigh had been among the nations that experimented with Autogyros before the war, for recreation and observation. However, with the Crystal Kingdom's mastery of neutral bouyancy aircraft, Germaneigh's premier Gyro manufacturer, Messershmidt, developed a series of planes for military use. Unusually, the Germane aircraft aren't split between Scout-with-Anti-Sub and Strike/Fighter like most nations. Instead, their Scout planes are also their primary fighter aircraft, and their strike plane is strictly for anti-ship and anti-sub actions, with self defense secondary. Germaneigh also experimented with anti-air missiles once the first Tirek aircraft were seen at the Dutch East Indies. |
