My Little Pony: Warfare is Magic

Herdiet Union: Ground Vehicles

Interestingly enough, the Herdiet Union started developing armored pony carriers long before the war started, and had an automotive industry based around fractal petroleum engines in mainstream use long before K's arrival in Equus. As such, transitioning to building actual tanks was not too large a leap, and it is known that at least some light rank vehicles, as well as some experimental armored boxes with cannons, were in use by the time of the Attack on Canterlot by Tirek. Most of these were scrapped or retrofitted with modern weapons as soona s K's weapon designs were stolen, leading to a couple of "loaned" tanks being in Khyangese hands by the time of the Battle of Paradise Estates.

BT-72

MAIN GUN: 45mm Tank Gun M1871 MACHINE GUN: 2 x 7mm KDP-71 AMMUNITION: Up to 30 45mm rounds, Up to 800 7mm Rounds

POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO: 26kw/tonne | 35hp/t MAXIMUM SPEED: 72.5kph/45mph (On Road) TRAVEL RANGE: 220 km
A very speedy vehicle, the very lightly armored BT-72 is proofed against anti-tank rifles. This was the first Herdiet armored vehicle seen by Equestrain forces.

T-3/76c
DESIGNATION: T-3/76c ROLE: Medium tank ARMOR: 45mm (Turret, Hull Front), 40mm (Hull Sides/Rear)
MAIN GUN: 76.2mm M1872 Tank Gun MACHINE GUN: 2 x KDP-71 7.92mm AMMUNITION: 40 76.2mm shells, 800 7mm rounds
OVERALL LENGTH: 8.64 meters/28.34 feet OVERALL HEIGHT: 3.1 meters/10.17 feet ENGINES: 2 Kharkiv V-12 Fractal Petroleum, 450 hp
POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO: 17kw/tonne | 22.7hp/t MAXIMUM SPEED: 50kph/31mph (On Road) TRAVEL RANGE: 340 km
The standard Herdintern Medium Tank, the T-3/76c is the production model of the T-3 series of tanks, that started with the T-3/45, which used the same gun as the BT-72. A further model, the T-3/85 up-gunned the tank with a slightly adapted turret, to mount the 85mm tank gun, Model 1873. The 76.2mm gun is almost exactly equal in performance to the 76mm Equestrian tank gun, and slightly worse in all metrics to the later-adopted 77mm HV NEIGHTO gun. However, the armor on the T-3 series is also in every way inferior to most NEIGHTO Medium Tanks. When this was discovered, the Herdintern Pact moved to an even heavier tank design.

T-3/85
DESIGNATION: T-3/85 ROLE: Medium tank ARMOR: 55mm (Turret), 45mm (Hull Front), 40mm (Hull Sides/Rear)
MAIN GUN: 85mm M1873 Tank Gun MACHINE GUN: 2 x KDP-71 7.92mm AMMUNITION: 36 85mm shells, 800 7mm rounds
OVERALL LENGTH: 8.64 meters/28.34 feet OVERALL HEIGHT: 3.1 meters/10.17 feet ENGINES: 2 Kharkiv V-12 Fractal Petroleum, 450 hp
POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO: 16.4kw/tonne | 22hp/t MAXIMUM SPEED: 48kph/30mph (On Road) TRAVEL RANGE: 340 km
This is the interim medium tank design the Herdintern Pact fielded to replace the inferior T-3/76c series, until a new Main Battle Tank could be developed. Simply a larger turret on existing T-3/76c hulls, the 85mm tank gun is roughly equal in performance to the NEIGHTO 90mm gun. Otherwise, the tank is the same. It can, however, out-range NEIGHTO 76mm and 77mm HV-armed medium tanks. It has an effectivve range about equal to the NEIGHTO 90mm Heavy Tanks, and similar speed.

T-6/130
DESIGNATION: T-6/130 ROLE: Main Battle Tank ARMOR: 300mm (Glacis), 200mm (Turret), 200mm (Hull Sides), 120mm (Rear), 100mm (E. Deck)
MAIN GUN: 130mm Tank Gun M1874 MACHINE GUNS: 1 x KDP-71 7.92mm AMMUNITION: 44 130mm Rounds, 600 7.92mm rounds
OVERALL LENGTH: 10.44 meters/34.25 feet OVERALL HEIGHT: 3.1 meters/10.17 feet ENGINES: 2 Kharkiv DG-7M V-12 Fractal Petroleum, 750hp
POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO: 16.7kw/tonne | 22.4hp/t MAXIMUM SPEED: 60kph/37mph (On Road) TRAVEL RANGE: 355 km
This massive MBT is a direct counter to the M16 Scott. While the Scott is slightly better, they're technically an even match. The only tanks superior to them are the Germane Panzer IV Ratte Super-Heavy Tanks, and even then, the T-6 can take them at close ranges, and are just plain faster. When encountered, the T-6 is to be dealt with by tactical air or artillery assets, when possible. The T-6 has four sets of tracks - two on the outside, two in the middle - making it very hard to disable.
