The Jeanne d'Arc class are named for famous Prench historical heroic figures. They're also some of the largest Carriers in the NEIGHTO fleet. While they did use the Province-class Battleships as a starting point, they quickly diverged, significantly in design and layout. The four Prench carriers have a VERY large aircraft compliment, and only come in second to the Equestrian Cloudsdale-class carriers. French Naval Aviation is highly regarded as well, making the Prench carriers the new crown jewel of the Prench fleet. |

An overhaul of the vessels was carried out soon after the Neighpon Campaign, and with the adoption of Aircraft, the Province-class Battleships now also function as combat air patrol-capable vessels. The gun calibers were increased, new turrets fitted, the casemates removed, and new dual purpose 5-inch guns (Equestrian 127mm guns in Prench turrets) replaced them. For closer range AAA defense, 55mm guns were developed, though the Prench discarded the idea of using 25mm cannons, fearing them too light for the task, given the deck space available on Prench vessels. They remain exceptionally tall, which provides them with greater gun sighting ability. The all-forward main armament and the increased speed make these "chaser battleships" - intended to be bow-on to the enemy at every opportunity. A new bow was even fitted to make them more hydrodynamic and permit the installation of Sonar. Two additional units were constructed, as well. |

Regunning the Régalien-class with the same secondary guns as the Province-class Battleships has resulted in a Heavy Cruiser with a lot of striking power. Adding 5-inch dual purpose guns and 55mm Autocannon for anti-air work was also deemed important. While the layout is a bit strange, it is competitive with other Heavy Cruisers from other nations. In addition, the ship carries two Scout-Fighers for air support. |

Upgrades to the Fleuves-Class ships include removing the torpedoes and adding anti-sub mortars instead, plus the new bow with sonar, and the addition of a scout plane to spot enemy vessels and submarines at longer distances. Gun armament was altered, with three dual purpose 5-inch gun turrets added, for AAA support, along with 55mm Autocannon. Boat stowage was changed as well. All in all, the Prench Light Cruisers are a very unique take on the concept, combining scouting, good gun power, and decent AAA capability. |

Beefed up even more than before, the Prench destroyers have the ability to fire up to 15 Torpedoes at once from either port or starboard in a single run, mount five more powerful 5-inch dual purpose guns, have 55mm Autocannons, and enlarged spaces for crew and stores, making them VERY modern Fleet Destroyers and fantastic examples of the type. New Fractal Pretroleum engines from Bugatti have increased their speed, as well. |

Upgraded from simple Torpedo Boats to full on Corvettes, the Militares-class vessels boast a better, more potent torpedo, anti-sub weapons, an actual anti-aircraft capability, better engines, and greatly increased lethality. No longer a "racing schooner with guns," these vessels can keep up with Force Protection duties alongside any other similar style of ship in the NEIGHTO Fleet. |
